To put it nice, quick and easy, David put an ad out for people who were interested in starting a band. Brandon saw this ad and decided to check it out after being dumped by his previous band,Blush Response. Much to Brandon's amazement David's ad mentioned influences of Oasis which Brandon had been inspired by after watching them play. Once David and Brandon met half the band was complete and not long after that, they both met Ronnie and Mark to make the band complete. After the band formed they got their heads down to much writing while Brandon was working as a bellhop at the Gold Coast Hotel and David worked in a Banana republic job. After long days and much hard work, such as touring, the Killers had produced their first album, 'Hot Fuss'. The album has done exceedingly well for a band's first attempt with sweet melodies and out of this world lyrics that everyone just seems to love, the album has gone 3 times platinum and has stayed in the UK's top 20 since January 2005. With hit singles storming the charts all over the world, the Killers have had much success, let's just hope this success still burns when the Killers return for a second album in the near future.
